Save records before the subscription access ends.
Time4Learning’s FAQ says program and report access lasts through the end of the billing cycle after cancellation. Its terms say student information can be deleted on or immediately after cancellation takes effect. I’d save what I need before submitting the request. FAQ · Cancellation terms.
My pre-cancellation checklist
- Record the next billing date and the intended last day of access.
- Save available progress and grade reports for each student and course.
- Keep any separately completed assignments you want to retain.
- Open the saved files to confirm that they contain the expected dates and student information.
- Store a backup, along with the purchase and cancellation confirmation.
I’d do this while the account is still working. A folder full of files is not useful if the downloads are incomplete or the pages cover the wrong reporting period. I would check at least one file from every student, not just the first download.
How to request cancellation
The FAQ directs parents to the Parent Dashboard. The terms also list a support email and telephone option. Since I haven’t inspected your account interface, I won’t invent button names or a click-by-click path. Use the cancellation controls in your dashboard or the current contact options in the official terms.
I’d retain written confirmation and check the effective date. If no confirmation arrives or the account status is unclear, I’d contact support before the next renewal rather than assume that leaving the site stopped the subscription.
Cancellation and refunds are separate questions
I’d read the terms for the plan actually purchased, especially if it includes an annual payment or add-ons. A request to stop renewal does not by itself tell me whether a past payment will be refunded. I’d ask support to clarify the specific order rather than apply an older reviewer’s experience to a different purchase.
What I’d do before switching programs
I’d note the last completed topic in each subject, where the student felt confident, and what still needed practice. Then I’d compare the next program’s scope instead of assuming that two providers’ grade labels line up perfectly. A short handover note can be more useful than starting every subject over.
If the reason for leaving is lesson style, I’d preview that aspect of the replacement first. If it is cost, I’d calculate the replacement’s full bill, including supplies and any extra help. Switching should solve the problem that prompted it.
Can I retrieve reports after access ends?
I would not rely on that. The published terms warn that deleted student data cannot be recovered. Save and verify the files while access is available.
Do I need to cancel just to change a course?
I’d check the current account options or ask support first. The right action depends on whether you want a different course, a different billing arrangement, or to leave the service entirely.
